You went to a theater with a friend and he/she had an accident. An employee helped you. Write a letter to the manager to
– thank the employee,
– explain about the accident,
– suggest what they could have done to prevent it.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my appreciation for the generous help offered by a staff member of the rescue team.
First of all, I would like to thank Mr. John from the bottom of my heart for his generosity which he bestowed upon us when we had a minor accident at the Nova Theater last night. Unfortunately, my friend slipped on the red carpet while he was climbing the staircase at the entrance point. As a result, he fractured his right ankle, but it is very minor. Nonetheless, I have to appreciate your staff members who instantaneously acted and offered first aid treatment to my friend. In particular, I would express my gratitude to Mr. John a rescue team member, who had not only taken us to the nearby hospital but also stayed along with us for an hour while we were at the Apollo hospital.
I would like to say that this accident could have been avoided if the carpet was properly aligned with the staircase. Therefore, I would like to suggest that perhaps using the clamps for fixing the carpet may not let the carpet to fall loose. I hope you will take my suggestion in right spirit.
I hope your staff member will maintain the positive attitude of helping customers.
