These are brand new OET listening tests developed by experienced OET trainers, following the official exam criteria strictly. The speakers you will hear in the audio recordings are all native English speakers and all the test questions are of the same level of difficulty as in the actual OET listening test. Each part of the materials has been thoroughly tested by OET trainers as well as practised by in-house OET students for accuracy, standard, and audio quality.

These are brand new tests, as mentioned above. You will not find them anywhere else. You can practise these materials online anywhere as long as you have internet connection. For your convenience, we have included an answer sheet which you can download if you prefer to write your answers down on paper. Writing on the answer sheet should give you exam-like experience.

Definitely! The OET Listening test is the same whether you are a doctor, nurse, pharmacist, etc, as long as you fall within one of the 12 medical professions under OET. So you can be a nurse, doctor, dentist, or pharmacist, and still practice the same listening tests. The materials are relevant to all healthcare professions.

These sample materials are designed in the exact same format as the OET listening sub-test. This means that there are 2 extracts for Part A, 6 short extracts for Part B, and two long extracts for Part C. All the extracts are related to health issues and are relevant to the test.

The content of these sample materials resembles what you can expect to find in the actual OET listening sub-test (i.e. related to health topics). There are conversations between a doctor and a patient in a health setting, interactions between nurses, presentations on health issues, discussions about patient management, handovers between nurses, extracts on patient records, talks on latest health topics, conversations about problems with patients, excerpts of training for nurses, reviews of patients, discussions about patient complaints, and many more. The content is spoken by native English speakers to help you get used to listening to this sort of materials. Take note that the materials are samples and not actual past-year OET papers or questions.

Yes. Part A of the Listening sub-test requires you to write the exact same word of phrase that you hear in the audio, so there is no subjectivity there. Part B and Part C are objective questions so the there is no problem with alternative subjective answers either.

No, at the moment you can practice on a computer screen online only. The screen does allow you type your answers for question 1 to 24 and choose the options for listening Part B and C. Other alternate The other alternative is to simply write your answers on a notebook and compare the answers once the listening is over. If you prefer writing on an answer sheet, simply download the answer sheet provided. Do not be unduly worried about writing down your answers because in the actual test, you are only required to write short answers for Part A, and in Part B and Part C, no writing is required as you only need to shade the letter of your answer (from options A, B or C).

You can take it as many times as you like as long as it is within the duration of your package. You will be able to log in online as long as your package is still valid.

Remember that in the actual OET Listening test, the audio will not be paused at any point (or during any particular part) other than when time is given for reading or checking.
