OET Gets Nod from Dental Council of Ireland
The Dental Council of Ireland now recognises OET as proof of English language proficiency when candidates apply for professional registration or Dental Council Examinations. This means that candidates who achieve a minimum score of Grade B in all components of the OET test can use it as proof of their English language proficiency. The Dental Council of Ireland is the authority of the dental profession in Ireland and protects the public by ensuring a high standard of education and professionalism in the profession.
With this latest recognition by the Dental Council of Ireland, OET is now recognised by five reputable Irish medical councils. The other four include the Medical Council, the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland, CORU (which is a multi-profession health regulator for dietitians, occupational therapists physiotherapists, radiographers and radiation therapists, speech therapists and optometrists), and the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
