OET Has Landed in Pakistan
Healthcare professionals in Pakistan who want to take the Occupational English Test (OET) no longer have to travel far to sit for the prestigious test. OET recently announced that it has opened a test venue in Pakistan, at the AEO Pakistan in Islamabad.
Offering candidates the chance to sit for the OET starting from the November 2019 OET test, AEO Pakistan is helping many local test takers relieve their exam stress. Local Pakistani OET candidates used to make the trip to nearby countries just to take the test. These candidates took on the stress of travelling on top of their exam anxiety because they see the value in taking the OET.
Recognising that there is a growing number of test takers from the country, AEO Pakistan joined hands with the owners of OET (Cambridge Boxhill Language Assessment) to be the first OET test centre in Pakistan. Prior to this, OET could be taken in 41 countries around the world, but with the new centre opening in Islamabad, OET can proudly say that it is available in 42 countries as of November 2019.
The OET is a test of English language proficiency specifically for healthcare professionals. Attaining the desired score in OET opens doors to applying for registration in various professional medical bodies around the world. In addition, OET is also accepted for professional migration purposes to some countries such as Australia and New Zealand.
