On a recent holiday you lost a valuable item. Fortunately you have travel insurance to cover the cost of anything lost.
Write a letter to the manager of your insurance company. In your letter
• Describe the item you lost
• Explain how you lost it
• Tell the insurance company what you would like them to do
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to your insurance company, to bring into notice that I lost my precious watch on my trip to Singapore.
It was a golden Rolex watch worth 200 dollars. The model number of watch is M2K53A.
I was wearing the watch on the morning of 1st August. I went to market with my wife and after some hours, my wife noticed that watch was missing from my wrist. I tried to look around for the watch and also went back to the places that I visited since morning but in vain.
I would like your company to give the value of the watch or give me assurance to reimburse if I buy a similar watch myself. You can also suggest if there are any other possible ways to compensate, as per the policy.
Please let me know if any other details are required. I expect to hear from you soonest.
