Finally, people may simply curious to find out whether they have any famous or wealthy ancestor.
In my opinion, conducting ancestral research is a recommendable activity for people in many ways. Firstly, tracing the past of the family can be a fascinating hobby for people, which is a nice way to spend their free time. It can be a good talking point for family and friends if they find a particularly interesting ancestor. Secondly, by searching genealogy records, people may find their long-lost family members as well as distant relatives who they might have chance to meet. Finally, it may be a good way to teach children about history. By creating their own family trees, children can understand better about their family they belong to as well as their ancestors and how earlier generations lived.
